Opposite Poles

Updated on May 20, 2017

People of opposite poles

The opposite poles

One day make a surveillance,

not in this endless world,

of which you are a negligent part,

but from your immediate neighbors,

your survey should start.

See your immediate north pole,

it is impudently crafted,

martial steps, notorious mind,

that is how the pole is drafted.

But the south pole on the other hand,

ruling only the honest.

witty happiness, optimistic minds,

predominantly only the best.

In this world with multiple flaws,

open your veiled eyes to see,

then decide in which pole,

you really choose to be ?

Note : This poem has not been indicated towards a specific part of the world and demean it , but to depict the two forms of people living in this world who seem to be like opposite poles.

Beautifully expressed and yes it is thought provoking too!

Men and women can be different but they must find ways to complement each other. I have often seen that opposites get along very well.

Thanks for sharing this excellent work!

This is very cool! It sort of reminds me of a poem I wrote called, Fragile Identity. Anyway, I think you are very talented, and I enjoy your writing!

      Hugs,

      Tamara

One thing I think we can all agree on: we are complicated creatures, and we must find ways to celebrate our similarities and stop concentrating on our differences. Very thoughtful work here.

Thanks Manatita for your views. Truly it is people's attitude towards life that make them follow their own ways. They are like two streams and ultimately meet somewhere or the other . Even the earth is round . Everything does meet at one point.

      Good views. Appreciable!

A noble effort. Still, perhaps not opposite poles, but complimentary streams of divergent currents, each singing its own song, in the same Ocean of the Unknown.
