Opposites May Attract ( a poem of magnetic obnoxiousness)
Words so unattractive in their meanings, are often to be attractive, in their repose,
Antonyms, in great opposition, reflect synonyms, of each other, trying to dispose.
One who thought was a Judo class, actually karati, now wears a patch on his eye.
As those who once hated to fish, in their older age, now to have better fish to fry.
As stormy weather becomes light breezes, makes one happy, until rain freezes,
Horrific films the timid to seize, a skunk family, cute babies, our senses to please.
Staunch business minds, not to believe in luck, buy a lottery ticket, spend a buck.
While the political scene, upon many to gloat, when the time comes, forget to vote.
An accidental proposition, often later is exposed, as to become intentional,
All lacking organization and detailed accounts, actually not inconsequential.
Candidates to claim deceit never to allow, lost votes, all elected some how.
Their main platform based on education, the moment elected, its abdication.
Ever gone to a place where up means down, and in is out, turned all around,
Try out the old mill pond, caught in the paddle wheel, till my senses, I found
Not as safe as the good old lilly pad, though I kept falling off, almost went mad.
Need a bath, just go for a swim, except when algae grows, it gets kinda grim.
I prefer to stay in the calm swamp, its sweet solitude, always so quiet and still,
When bees buzz, frogs croak, crickets chirp, birds all to screech, I'd love to kill.
People don't know how lucky they are, they're never caught and stuffed in a jar,
As lightning bugs blink on, blink off, scientists all scoff, as they fly away to a star.
