Our Eyes Shall See the Wind..
As the winds unseen flow ever on
With not even a shadow cast below
Lord may we look beyond the sighted things
In search of love you long to show
For though our eyes may capture glimpses
A memory is all that's left behind
What is locked outside a guarded heart
Can't help but fade in passing time
Please forgive this independence
When it's not for our life we live
Denying what You have to offer
Leaves empty hands from which to give
Your understanding is a blessing
Granting hope for each new day
As we learn to open up our hearts
In a true unselfish way
Oh to think of all the beauty
We still have yet to find
Recognizing it's the sighted things
That often cause us to go blind
But your mercy stands before us
Because of love that knows no end
It will one day be the reason
Our very eyes shall see the wind...
II Corinthians 4:18
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.
For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal...
Lord, please purify our hearts that we may truly see...
