Over Us

Updated on September 11, 2014

Over Us

A poem about that moment, when you realize you are done. You are over it.

Over us

Over you

Sick of all

The sh*t you spew

Your lies bring anger

Deciet follow shame

Hate burns hot

Never be the same

Can't do this no more

I'm so f*cking done

Pull your trigger

Shoot your gun

End it with him

No more us

Time wasted now

A total bust

I'm done, I'm gone

I know the truth

You thought me dumb

Because of my youth

So thinking I'm naive

You played the game well

Forsaking all others

Ensuring your hell

Very deep, I definitely feel where you are coming from. I do not know who you are over, but from the reading of this it reminds me of a time in my life when I finally decided that it was time to say goodbye and get over certain people in my life. Sometimes you have to let people and things go so that you can go out and have someone/something better. Saying goodbye is at times hard, but sometimes it's worth it in the end. Very Good. I liked this a lot. Keep writing.

Your picture choice in my view is fantastic! Matching the strong emotional statement of poetically laced broken, racing thoughts. I hear, while listening one's liberation from tyranny cloaked in the masks of deception. Hooray for you! And, thank you for sharing both your pain and your liberation from it.

Detours can be interesting, full of unexpected treasures...Shouting it out always helps assuage the pain and anger...

      Voted up, Thanks...Larry
