Over the moon for you

Updated on November 30, 2012

The sinking sun bows in demand

It's glory swiftly fading by

Now beneath the moon light's softer glow

You're still pleasing to the eye

I thought it just a nursery rhyme

Now I know it to be true

Heart pressured jets

And spring filled steps

I'll jump over the moon for you

The darkness grips your laughter

And funnels to my ears

This happiness of being close

Seems right to fill my years

Buildings in a single bound

Heck, there's nothing I can't do

Heart pressured jets

And spring filled setps

I'm over the moon for you

Can't catch my breath

Now I'm over, yet

I'm back from the moon for you
