Oh, please hate me for being real

Hate me for being the real deal

I would honestly want you to hate me for saying the truth

Hate me because I don’t have anything to lose

Hate me for facing my pain, in order to gain

Hate me because today, I wish for the rain.

My girl friend hates me for glorifying death

It doesn’t matter if you hate me until my last breath

Hate motivates me and love sustains me

Give me the hate that I need to succeed

I don’t care if I’m weeping and my heart bleeds

Hate me if you secretly love me because I cherish the feeling of being ignored

I don’t know much, but I’m well informed

So today, I will sing the song of love in the midst of hate

No food on my plate, but I still embrace

Even when I’m late, I still engage

Hate me for my rage for all the years I wasted with the fake

Please…hate me so I can be uplifted from my comfort

Hate hate hate makes my day

So from the bottom of my heart I really thank you for the hate

Hate me more…

Very nice perspective for haters to see how they motivate with their hate. The strength of confidence and perseverance in the midst of negativity, shines through. I like this a lot, prince bethel. You've done a great job with this poem, voted up and awesome.
