Poem: Silence Speaks.

Updated on September 26, 2016
Silence Speaks Volumes....
Silence Speaks Volumes.... | Source

The poem was painted by the poetess while dwelling into the perceptions that runs the world.

The world is equal for all...all races, all species; every being alive deserves respect for their soul and pure heart. It is sad that human mind is judgmental and prejudiced. The one thing that can help in attaining harmony is by peace, acceptance, humbleness, respect and love for all the beings.

The silence speaks volumes...The hurt from rejections, judgments, oppression and narrow minded approaches leaves deep ghastly wounds that runs into black tears of silence.

The poetess hopes the readers enjoy the poem and analyse their own behaviors. The change should happen within all of us.

The power of silence,

The power of emptiness,

The power of vacuum,

The power of absence...

Peace is white. Who said that?

Goodness is white. Who said that?

Why can’t black be light?

Why can’t white be dark?

Why we call names?

Why there are prejudiced minds?

The heart should be pure.

The soul should be clear.

The mind should be crystal.

The thought should be powerful.

The color is only skin deep.

The brain is just a dirty keep.

Trained to follow the chains of lineage,

Welded by the eyes of a narrow mind…

Who said people are superior to other beings?

Who said that one race is better than the others to live?

Who said that to know and speak English is to be ‘IN’?

Who said that anyone can judge another human being?

The world would have been at a better place,

had the soul been set free into space.

The life flow same in all.

The Supreme power has equal love …

It is we human at fault.

Labeling everything and all…

Separating the white and black.

Choosing to see the royalty in a pack…

Hoping a day will come soon,

The changes will rise from the womb.

The eyes will see the truth of souls,

And embrace the world as a whole

Sure, prejudiced minds are what cause the naming of things. Language came into being after we lost the power of telepathy. It's all our own doing. Serves us right!

      Good one, Liz. :)
