Peace and Contentment

Updated on June 26, 2010

As I sat outside

Watering the grass today

There was a puddle of water

A thrush was just playing away.

Without a care in the world

Just splashing around

And I wondered what it’d be like

To have that kind of freedom abound.

Yes it would be lovely

Getting rid of all worries and fears

Being free of everything

That causes a shed of a tear.

My heart skips a beat

As the thrush starts his flight

I am there in spirit with the bird

My body feels so light.

Up and up we soar

Til the ground is far below

And every inch we fly upward

The more I can let go.

Up, up, and away!!!!!!
Up, up, and away!!!!!!
