Peace at Cost?

By Tony DeLorger © 2012

There is no cost that justifies a violent peace,

just an illusion of righteous belief,

an act of defiance that cultivates acceptance,

in the face of veiled truth.

Peace is not achieved through any act,

other than a tranquil and non-judgemental mind,

one that accepts harmony and balance as a way of thinking,

within the natural order of life.

Peace can never prevail within a world of ego,

within competition and the divisive minds of dominance,

ever leading peaceful outcomes,

through the corruption of justifiable beliefs.

Peace is a state of mind,

a state of accepting humanity as imperfect beings of potential,

beings that with nurture can achieve greatness,

and share the good fortunes of life.

Peace is freedom,

without the oppressive will of others,

imprinting false ideals and beliefs for personal gain,

and dominating thought, spirituality or action.

Peace can only be achieved,

when a heart surrenders to the flow of life,

unencumbered by race, creed or ego,

and within the stillness of a placid and accepting mind.

There is no cost to peace, only a decision to live it.

hmmm...righteous belief, veiled truth, natural order, world of ego, minds of dominance, dominating thoughts, heart surrenders, accepting mind, peace!

very, very interesting, Tony. Veiled truth perhaps?
