Perceiving of Mr. Right...

Seeking the truth gets more difficult each day.....

How can you tell if this man is married or not ? The fact he's wearing matching colours helps..or it used to....
How can you tell if this man is married or not ? The fact he's wearing matching colours helps..or it used to.... | Source

It may seem a bit over the top ..but..a back ground check may just put you on top.

I was told the internet is the way to go....

To meet friends and find a new beau.....

So I followed the advice....

Never even thought twice...

Immediately met the man of my dreams...

It appears he feels the same or so it seems...

He always presents the week-end with a surprise....

And many times I can hardly believe my eyes....

It’s dining at it’s finest , or tickets to a play...

Or possibly even a quick jet getaway...

People have told me , he must really be smitten...

Because they say it has been written...

They haven’t seen him wine or dine...

Anyone in a very long time...

Now we don’t live in the same city...

So when we date we usually meet...

At a fancy hotel, and stay in a suite....

We have had several dates... each one a pleasure...

He’s been nothing less than a real live treasure...

We have spoken of the act...

And it seems it is a likely fact...

That we both want the same...

In this dating game...

He texts daily and calls like he said ...

And we always speak just before bed....

He appears to be very devoted father...

Never complains of the " EX " as a bother...

I would have to admit, I couldn't ask for better...

So we made our plans and set a date...

To go on a cruise to celebrate...

I was excited as we boarded the ship...

This was to be our first together trip...

It was like a dream....I was floating on air..

Not having a doubt or even a care...

When all of a sudden I saw with my own two eyes...

And yep ! you guessed...quite a surprise,,,

A man and a woman passionately kissing...

IT was HE but who was the woman..?

As I approached them both, he held out his hand..

Oh, this is my wife....he said with a grin..

And introduced me as " just a friend "...

You can draw your own conclusion...and if you can see what I missed in this poem..

Please leave a comment .for the day...

As I am in a " QUANDARY "

.

Men can win just about any woman they want with their looks and charms. Some can be so sneaky. They only show their good side. Why give a woman false hope only to disappoint her in the end. It's so sad because affairs like these happen all the time. Imagine sleeping with a man only to find out that he is married. It's definitely not a good feeling!

      Great hub!

I believe this is what we call a dilema or some other word... Truth be told, it appears to happen a lot in this current age in time. Know a few people that constantly cheat at work, sad I would say. Could never break my wife's heart life that. Reckon I am just old fashioned. I like to think I am just respectful and honest and truthful and:) so on. Awesome write and poem my dear friend. Voted up, useful, awesome, interesting, and shared. Best wishes always:)

Oh wow! This is actually a true story. Yep. his cake and eat it too. It's hard to find a good guy these days. It seems the friends without benefits is the norm these days.

    • profile image

      lovedoctor926 4 years ago

friends with benefit I meant. I can't tell if the man in the picture is married or not.

lovedoctor926...well he's not gay ( known fact )..and appears well attired..so that says he's married.. if he were wearing black socks with sandals and he's over 60..then you'd know he wasn't married ( no woman in her right mind would allow him to accompany her in public)..this is a process I have used over the past years to determine martial status of older men....heheheh....enjoyed the game...thanks for visiting/comments

      Happy Holidays my friend....

I agree with the guy who said he couldn't do that to his wife... But, I'm curious how a guy's clothing tells you he's married... I think my wife has only told me two things ever about my clothes... And we have been married for almost 30 years...

Spyguy.. .as far as the way a man color coordinates his outfit, NOT all are fashion conscious, also many men are color blind. Most women buy the clothes for their husbands, believe it or not...you wife is lucky you have a fashion flair..OR is it possible if she critques, other women will become interested in you ? hmmm something to think about,,,,,hahaha

Thanks for the comment...hope you are still laughing...

not sure if you ever rec'd my reply...many men are color blind , many do not match ( they use mix and match) wrinkled clothing might be a factor,,, or just plain not socially appropriate dress code for the event. So when a woman notes a well dressed man, it makes us stop and wonder...It was merely my way of getting attentive feedback...and it worked, thank you.....non of the above is conclusive...hehe.
