Perceptions, Sensations and Feelings

Perceptions, sensations and feelings,

part of all, of the living kind,

Products of life and existence we have,

and each belonging to a mind.

Such gifts and wonders, for us to see,

and hear, and so to touch,

Untold value to the human thought,

and it's all loved so very much.

We live each day bathed by the sun,

and rest by the moon at night,

While in slumber, the dreams we dream,

take us on a marvelous flight.

A world of happy thoughts, or strange,

await us in the darkness there,

One may travel so high, beyond the stars,

with visions, all sights so rare.

What if all men should perish away,

would such sights be there to see,

The twinkling lights in a starry sky,

and silver moon, could it all still be?

Would the world keep on turning then,

on its long trip around the sun,

Should rainbow colors matter so much,

no treasures, not a single one?

With an absence of the human kind,

might it bring a Blue whale's delight,

Would red birds sing in trees so tall,

could the endangered's lives be bright?

Does mankind owe a burgeoning debt,

to those who are to share this earth,

Just what is the cost of the losing of one,

a creature, it's meaning and worth?

All life, so precious, the living things,

and so numbered upon this planet's soil,

A respect should be shown for every breath of life,

that's put here, and not to spoil.

The perceptions, sensations, and feelings we have,

in total, part of God's living plan,

Meant to save and not to destroy, all of this world,

with such marvels, that are so grand.

Voted up and awesome. Yes, creation and beauty is to be enjoyed and revered for what it is. It can be as simple as a cloud, or as complex and a moving storm.
