Piercing Sound of Silence

Updated on January 14, 2015

Piercing Sound of Silence

It was dark

I can barely see

A call was whispering

Inside of me

I seek

I sought

I find

It tickles run and fast

Echoed bit

Around corners

Can’t hardly sleep

Nor take a nap

The noise where everywhere

From floor to wall

To lock doors

And shaded lamp

It is the noise

Getting so loud and sound

Am I just fooled in this lonely solitude?

Piercing sound of emptiness that ever call

The sounds of silence can indeed be very loud. I love the Simon & Garfunkel song too!
