Pleasure’s Treasure (poem)

Updated on October 16, 2015

This messenger of hope to meet with you

Again on lost to longing shores delight

Our senses tuned by unknown pleasure’s dew

Now drifts on sensual paths then lost to sight

Leave open window for my heart to sore

Once more to tides of pulsing sighs refrain

A kiss to season lips to search once more

Till heightened pleasure’s treasurer we attain

But if my courier should return home

And all love’s opportunities are lost

My soul is doomed in netherworlds to roam

What once was me the vultures may accost

For I have tasted heaven by your side

I love you now forever let us glide

Music only
