Poem About What If..?

Updated on June 27, 2012
Poem about what if..?
Poem about what if..?

What if...

What if...

The world was flat
The sun was cold
Age decreased
No one got old

The fish could fly
The floor was sky
The ice was hot
And water dry

What if...

Our arms were legs
Our legs had heads
When we got tired
We left our beds

The trees were red
Our boss was nice
The birds caught cats
Instead of mice

What if the world were not the same...

...Our lives would be a different game

Encore!

Read a slightly more sinister poem here: Poem about death.

I don't know if I could deal with water being dry, that's about the only thing I wouldn't want different. Everything else would make for a more interesting world.

Including if arms were legs and legs had heads? :p

At some point in evolution, arms were legs. Our animal predecessors walked on all fours. If legs had heads, that would mean extra eyes to see where we are walking better.

Absolutely valid point, it could be an extremely valuable asset
