Poem - Color
Color
You, me,
breathe the
same air.
You, me,
belong
on Earth.
How dark
you may be,
none of my business.
How white, dark
I am,
none of yours.
I’m willing
to hear
your heart’s music.
Let us stand
on the hearth,
hold hands,
enjoy the warmth.
‘Cause you, me,
we’re human beings;
we are one.
