Poem: Guardian Angels

Updated on October 8, 2012

This short poem simply displays my view on guardian angels. I believe that we are protected and watched over by God; therefore, his angels are assigned work on earth to protect and guide us on a daily basis.

There are guardian angels here,

For our protection from day to day,

They are equipped with love and protection,

Surrounding us every step of the way.

There is a God in Heaven who keeps a look out,

His protective angels are assigned and always there without a doubt,

They shield us from accidents,

They shield us from unwarranted pain,

They provide us comfort,

When we are hurt and doused with life's heavy rain.

You may think that I'm crazy,

To believe that they are true,

It's been by the grace of God,

Hence the trails and tribulations that I've gotten through.

Guardian angels are real,

They are ordained to help us be strong,

Providing unmerited favor,

Continually keeping us all day and night long.

It is true that we receive unmerited favor from our God and his watchful angels. Thank you for this fine rendering of such a delightful message, UMHiram.
