Poem: Ignite the Fire

Updated on May 19, 2013
Source

This poem is simply about the pure passion between a couple who have endured a lot throughout their life together and still have that unique desire for each other despite what obstacles they had to face.

We’ve been together for so long,

Making it work through the right and wrong,

Moments in time,

Enticing and sublime,

The combustion cannot be denied,

It’s like an inferno burning inside,

You can see it when I look into your enchanting brown eyes,

The heat that rises in both thighs,

One look, one touch,

That’s all it takes to ignite the fire,

Pure, unadulterated,

Streams of flowing uncontrollable desire,

The years have not made us forget,

The deepest levels on which we connect,

The unconditional, no holds barred love,

One that clearly stands above,

Whether near or far,

Another time, another place

The fire of this unique love,

Can’t be duplicated or replaced,

One look, one touch,

That’s all it takes to ignite the fire,

Pure, unadulterated,

Streams of flowing uncontrollable desire.
