Poem: Liberation

Updated on March 13, 2009

Liberation

Release yourself
Follow the monarch’s ascension
Upwards
Through the trailing winds of yesterday
Onward to fields of tranquility

Release yourself
Yield to instant glee
Inhale the morning breath dense with life’s passion
As scented calla lilies tickle the senses
Awakening
Resurrecting the soul from stale infertility

Release yourself
Free these daunting insecurities
Leave this dark reflection to the shadow and come
Come be the illustrious
Unshackle this heart kept from passion and lust
Exhale and feel this moment
Now
A blink in time
Past, Present, Future
If you only Release
Release yourself and Allow
