Poem - Mistake
Mistake
I had this rope on my hands,
and tied it upon the wall.
I curved a ring at its end,
and made myself a cowboy.
Too bad, the horse I was riding
tripped off, lost control;
the horse came tumbling down
along with my
shaken bones.
I’d like to wear
that ring
around my little neck
to see if
reincarnation is true;
and, if it is...
I’d never be
a cowboy again.
