Introduction by Salini

This is a poem depicting the Fictional characters developed by the poet Salini. The scene is the end of the King of Tartarus (hell) by the prince of Orbs (earth) from the sword of Zion(heaven) completing the prophecy (theme of the poem) of prevalence of goodness by the annihilation of evil.

It is completely a fictional poem but can be considered as an allegory based poem too.Like in real life even when we are deep inside the clutches of evil, depression, low spirits... the inner goodness or the goodness of other human being will help the self to conquer the evil and rejoice in the goodness.

Hoping you will enjoy reading this.

The Prophecy: by Salini

Standing at the zenith

looking at the devastated realm

of the once glorious world

he laughs aloud

Flexing his muscles, tightening his armour

swaying his sword to the world below

he screams at his top

I have destroyed it all!

I The Ruler Of Tartarus HAVE DESTROYED IT ALL!

The silence is thickened.

The air is stiffened.

Absence of light and pungent air so tight,

silently screaming to help them from their plight.

"But master what about the prophecy?"

A soldier brave enough to clear the creeping doubt,

Stood with shaking legs on the firm ground.

PROPHECY?

Loudly he bellowed rippling the terror all across

The men shrinking away in effect.

Some fearing the wrath of their ruler,

others mute waiting for their death.

The soldier was brave,

he spoke again.

"Yes master, the prophecy of the Lord.

Had it not written on an oak leaf down the reek

kept safely by sacred priests?

written in Aramaic with blood of pure?

Which will not dry till the death of evil?"

The prophecy is loud and clear.

"When the evil shall think he has won,

the goodness will strike it to its end.

The world will rise from the ashes

as there are others having their faith on the Supreme, his gracious."

Braving the storm he reaches the mountain.

A boy who has not crossed his teen.

The prophecy has chosen him for task.

He is a warrior from blood and heart.

He is The prince of holy Orb!

Kept hidden from the evil for long,

trained under the masters of war,

welded bright with goodness of heart,

he will be the ruler of this world from fresh start.

For evil to sustain is not the call of Lord.

The end is brutal for all hard devout of dark.

He is the assassin of the king of Tartarus, the ruler of dark.

Slowly he lifts the oak leaf,

bringing it closer to his lips,

He whispers the chant of magic.

Looking up to see the signs of his kill,

pulls out the sword from Zion the Supreme,

tearing the wind all around him.

He roars a raging scream

the soldiers are thrown strew away screaming.

Now,standing against him is the evil king fit

in a blink he slashes the king's crest

down falls his limbs lifeless, devoid of spirit.

The wind blows hard.

The clouds burst out.

The sun pierce life.

Only the pure survives.

From the ashes the world rise.

The goodness prevails around all bright.

Thus the prophecy comes true.

"When the evil shall think he has won,

the goodness will strike it to its end.

The world will rise from the ashes

as there are others having their faith on the Supreme, his gracious.."

Brilliant! Yes, evil will think it has won but then . . . The sword of the spirit (His Word) shall prevail, as it is sharper than any double-edged sword --- reminds me of in my mind. Love this very much.

You are a great poet indeed!!! Very dramatic.

      Voted up++++

God bless. In His Love, Faith Reaper

This is brilliantly composed, Salini, exposing all "goodness" to prevail against all "evil" and I do believe that is the way it is.

The World is full of s---, its occurrence is made by evil men, but lo, many standing and those even in their last breaths with God in their hearts have the power to change each crisis that could sink the whole World. It will take time and long waits and greater sufferings just like how the Prince of Orbs was in preparation, then, when the goodness in hearts act together, evil will shamefully crawl down back to its darkest pit.

      Awesome.

Sometimes it seems as if evil will overtake the world, but God is in control and good wins in the end. A thoughtful allegorical poem that is indeed dramatic.
