Poem: Through My Eyes

Updated on May 4, 2013
Source

Looking through my eyes
what would you see,
Essence of my world,
and the beauty of eternity.

Seldom seen by men,
this pure blissful sight.
Let me take you there,
The souce of eternal light!

See the ocean flow,
silent wind so pure.
From the eyes of the falcon,
diving to the shore.

++++++++++++++

Clinging to the vision
of happiness galore.
Grasping the sensation
of falling to the core.

Feeling through my touch
you will never know,
The harshness of the past,
or sadness and it's blow.

Indulging in the beauty
that you see through my eyes,
Feel through my touch,
but do not make me cry!

Source

++++++++++++++++

Softness of the heart,
tears of joy and sorrow,
Touched by the voices of
yesteryear and tomorrow.

Feel through my heart
if you truly wish to see,
The life that is pleasing
for a perfect destiny!

++++++++++++

Do not Look into my eyes,
for you will be able to see,
The secrets of my heart
that only belongs to me.

It is not for the one
who I hold so dear,
To look within my heart
and envision himself there!

      Admirable, I did look into your eyes through this poem, and I was taken aback. Suddenly over oceans and that breeze of life, landed on a foreign soil. You are getting better by the day Lathing, maybe is that connection with your followers. Great inspiration from a 'cheeky' feeling.

      I've read this three times (I'm a little slow sometimes), and each time I'm getting different visions. Everything from the inspirational voice from above to the voice of one experiencing the varied facets of love. Going back, I can't disprove either is wrong. Tremendous!

      Sometimes looking back over this thing called life, I'm struck by how I try every day to build life in the image of what I want it to be, wish it to be, and yet more than I want to admit, everything I do and am is

      "Touched by the voices of

      yesteryear and tomorrow."

      You put into two short lines the truth I have been grasping toward for the past several years. Thanks so much.
