Poem - What Do You Do When You Go Out?

Updated on December 28, 2011

Poem - What Do You Do When You Go Out?

Damn baby what do you do when you go out?
Instead of my love's strength, you carry the doubt
Are you still searching in each man's eyes
For the one who can fly through your skies?

Can you resist the appeal of their voices?
Men everywhere shower you with choices
Why would you wait for your fantasy lover
When it would be so easy to find another

I'm just as trapped as you
Ready to break free
To give you all my love
And just barely able to be

Stop looking and hoping in the men you see
It's time for to start believing in me
We are starting the passion of an inferno
Have faith that our love is eternal

I'm just as trapped as you
Ready to break free
To give you all my love
And just barely able to be

Yes but in this story the lover is "barely able to be" able to give the love because they are apart....

I agree that the healthy person can give their all but they shouldn't be left with nothing.

I have nothing against giving "all your love", but should you be so deplited afterwards "just barely able to be", please be careful; unless you are a whole person you have little to give - so keeping your identity is a must
