Poem:Music

Updated on April 6, 2011

You played a song tonight

I longed for you, your tunes make me

             weak at the knees

You could have been playing me

I was so turned on,

            wanting you desperately

strum me another melody

I love to watch your hands make music

please play me now,

            let me be your instrument

glide your hands over me all night long

I am willing.

Can you play another song for me,

a soft one, a romantic tune of love.

My love for you grew again tonight,

as I watched you feel the music

so at peace, so calm, just being.

I wish we could stay like this forever,

just sitting around,

playing.

The night shall be filled with music,And the cares that infest the day Shall fold their tents like the Arabs

And as silently steal away.Music, when soft voices die

      Vibrates in the memory -
