Brightest Star in My Sky

Updated on May 19, 2014

My Rose

You bring sunshine to the darkest places

Venus herself wouldn’t have more beautiful

Hair than yours

I’m mesmerized by your sparkling brown

Eyes and your musical laughter

I’ve met with princes globally but I never

Have I feasted my eyes on someone as

Beautiful as you

You are summer of my life

You’re a jewel as magnificent as the

Brightest star in the sky

You blossom like a flower in a warm summer rain

You’re a mythical goddess who descended

From heaven to make my life worthwhile

You stand out like a rose in a bed of weeds

You shine like a diamond set against black velvet

I worship the ground you walk on

Wow, this is truly amazing. I couldn't stop reading it, you broke the lines and it made it more powerful in my eyes. It seems like there is no ending and we, the readers, have to decide the end for ourselves.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful masterpiece.
