Poems and Poetry: Where There's Darkness

Updated on November 26, 2011

Where There's Darkness

Where there’s darkness

Light is in captivity

Lives maim lives

Evil tramp good with heavy feet.

Love will be trampled by hatred

Like a descending foot on ant.

The possibility of truth overcoming

Falsehood is like flies

Laying ambush for broom.

But where there is light

Mercy succeeds mercy

Like the waves of Atlantic

Ocean constantly breaking

Upon the shore.

Every wave comes with new found

Treasures from bowel of the ocean.
