Poems and Poetry: You're A Lifesaver

Updated on January 16, 2012

You're A Lifesaver

Before I met you nothing made sense

But now everything makes sense

I’ve a sense of purpose now

You’re a lifesaver

Visionaries are many but you’ve shown

The ability to translate vision into reality

You’re a glimmer of light in a long, dark tunnel

You’re a beacon of sanity in an insane world

You’re one true thing in a world of falsehood

You’re singularly impressive specimen of humanity

There had been a missing piece of puzzle in my heart

But with you the piece was not difficult to locate

You’re my polestar, my lodestone

You’re a godsent.
