Let everyone who can

Open their eyes to

Visualize a world where

Everyone works together

People need to understand

Everyone is here together

And must seek to live as one

Cause it is the only way

Each of us can survive

C is for the country in lock down

O Is for the outbreak which goes on

R Is for the restrictions placed on us

O is for the outside we miss so much

N is for the nurses on the front line

A is for all of us learning a new way of life

Sitting looking out the window

Understanding it is going to be

Nice enough to go out and

Sit at the beach all the while

Having a wonderful time relaxing

In the afternoon sun as the

Nice breeze off the ocean keeps

Everyone feeling so cool

Daily time spent wondering

About what is to come or

Yesterday’s gone way by

Deep, deep in thought

Replaying each and every

Events, instead of doing

All the work my boss has

Made for me to do today

Always

Finding the time to

Respond when you call

Intone with who I am and

Every thing I'm not

Never turning aside your

Desire to live, laugh and learn

Life can be really tough

And there are days when

Unknown problems

Grow unbearable so you

Have to learn to smile

Inside then

Next let a chuckle

Grow to loud joy

Here on one channel

Are all of the sappy

Love stories and movies

Lined up for hours that

My wife insists that I sit

And enjoy watching with her

Really she knows she can

Keep the enjoyment to herself

Decidedly the

One true friend

God give to us all
