Poetic As Usual

Updated on March 7, 2011
Poetic Justice
Poetic Justice

I'm a word champion

Camouflage of any scribe, chameleon

I do this faithfully in times without fee

Vocabulary is honey, spelling bee

Arson flows to make justice poetic

My poems are newborns, generic

How did I become a spokesperson

for punch lines that don't get worsen

This means of this art, I'm gifted

Towards greatness, my mind is shifted

Spit rhymes on right side of the law

Spit rhymes on left side of the jaw

I might cut up like a chainsaw

to keep my message fresh and raw

The grain and grind rings in volumes

Business, I like to wear costumes

Lyricist, publisher to reviewer and blogger

Over and over, I copy them, roger

By almost anything good, I'm inspired

Transferred to my memory bank, wired

Soon as the idea is posted from process

Shed tears of intense writing for success

I'm so emotional about it, nervous breakdown

I walk around with a blank stare to frown

I carry on daily basis a black notebook

to better understand the world and its look

Its in me to always hone my specialty

Take everything else, don't take my poetry
