Dreaming Of Dreams

what else is there?

all the dreams remain

just dreams

and not even that

the dream

is in itself the gift

of a more purposeful life

how lucky the dreamer

Heaven

my mind is racing

to find the stars

but my heaven

is where you are

Places

you touch me

in places

i had

forgotten

Window

hold a square

a square

a picture

a window

of your mind

hold it up

and show it to me

i see your love

it's mine

Ah, l'amore. I knew it once, maybe even twice.

Love this line You touched me in places I had forgotten - sweet rediscovery - like my kids yesterday discovering forgotten toys under their beds when we finally tidied up. Thanks for poems - enjoyed!

      Hi Russ,

I loved the idea that "the dream is in itself the gift".

The dream is the gift of eternal youth; the purpose of life is to take the steps that will get you closer to the dream, will make you almost touch it and taste it.

Great poem and thank you for sharing
