Poetry--Tell Me A Tale
I just wrote this for fun and I have to say my children were a great inspiration.
Thank-you for taking the time to read this as well as my other Hubs!!! I do appreciate it!!!
Tell Me A Tale
Tell me tales of Adventures to unfold
Treasure, Legends, and Heroes bold
Of Pirates slashing their swords at sea
Of Monsters devouring what can’t be set free.
Speak of lands far and away,
Of magic and wonder to keep me at bay.
Bring me to lands never seen before,
But wait, I do crave more.
Enlighten me with mystical creatures that fly through the air
And Medusa with her squirmy snake hair.
Death by turning to stone can’t be fun,
But wait, this poem is not quite done.
Talk of vampires and werewolves settling their score
And the Raven eternally whispering Forevermore.
Witches and Warlocks battling to the end,
And I will forever be your friend.
Oh Thank-you, Oh Thank-you for such a great tale
Your legends and stories never fail.
Thank-you so much but it is time go,
Now I have my own story that will begin to grow.
