Poetry is Art

Updated on August 14, 2012

I heard you sigh....

I heard you gasp, I heard you cry......

out my name

in a dream......

my sweet baby

the words of love are..oh so mean.

what is poetry...what is art..

Art in parts...

broken pieces of written words

spoken words... never heard.

baubles and bangles

music ringing...

rain lightly falling... angels singing

always bringing

grooving ...

smooth energy ...

wants you to move..

all the way across the sea

my sweet love.... words of art....

. I send to thee.

Excellent piece with equally as much beauty as it is 'soulful' :-)

      I just love it :-)

Let me 'throw' some words at ya, and wait to see what you can do with them :-)

You plant your words on the page,

My soul, you are looking to engage...

My mind continues to be enraged,

At you because you insist on keeping our love,

      In a cage!

Work your God given magic Michael on that paragraph above and create another 'work of art' :-)

      Ciao...Princess Prisca

Lovely and well said. Poetry is art and Art is poetry... such a harmony!
