Scope unlimited !

(Based on a true inspiration)

Once I went through some profile portfolio of a fellow hubber here. Surprisingly the friend wrote in her introduction that "she is a simple and very poor girl from.....”. This indeed just got stuck in my mind so deep that I could not but pen this hub to release my anguish.

Being poor is a relative term. At an age of 25, for one may mean all monetary things to portray poor or rich. That is the general and more materialistic standard to calculate the net worth of a person. But rich and poor is a very different concept to me. Though, I am not sure what that particular person meant by being poor.

For those who calculate the net worth of a person by mere monetary factors, let me have the privilege to show some different aspect of being poor.

A person very rich monetarily and having all kind of life style ailments like high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid problem and many more. Then is the person really rich with all the mental anxiety and health problems?

Now a different person very rich in monetary sense and well established but then he is divorced and children lives with ex-wife. He doesn’t have his loved one to share his fortune and miss them very much as he is very lonely. So is he rich in true sense?

Another person has financial freedom. But the money was by not so good mean. Then he is very scared to lead a happy life with his family and all his growing timidity may lead to serious health problems. He is not even brave enough to spend his own money and do not have the respect in society for himself and his own family. So will he be rich in true sense?

In the profile picture of the particular fellow hubber there were two girls. But both the girls are looking quite healthy so if we see the first example the person concerned is rich in true sense. Second example, I am not aware of the family status but I hope it is not like in the example itself (I pray for that). Then again she is not poor. Third example, I think she does not fit in as well. So the vital question is that, don’t you think its better not to be rich like in those cases? These are few compared to the problems I have come to know money can accompany.

The best part is that she is brave, simple, honest and a young girl. That is wealth enough compared to the many thronged poverty a RICH person may possess. One should be proud of the inherent wealth in self. She is rich enough as she is very brave to declare in her profile intro that she is poor. Another important aspect is that she is HERE…..in hubpages….because I think that she has a stronger brain, as for her age there are lots of lighter sites which may offer bigger entertainment element then here in different aspect. It shows her interest area and choice which seems to be of higher value and substance. One should be very proud of the inner mental strength and true wealth.

This is just an attempt to show life from a little different perspective. So one should always be happy and thankful to God for whatever we are blessed with. It’s a query I would like to put forward to the respected readers if they agree with my view. Like the particular hubber, we all are blessed with scopes unlimited which are yet to be explored. Everybody here on earth has unlimited and unexplored scope as all are the part of wonderful creation of the Almighty. So we just need to be happy with whatever we are blessed with and try to serve the purpose of life. Even we need to see all the aspect of life from different point of view which I just tried to project here.

There is indeed a range of measurements in describing the terms poor and wealth. Your hub points out the importance of keeping that in mind and I think that's a great message to your readers. Voted up.
