Possibility (poem)

Updated on January 11, 2017

Don’t question me if dreams come true

Or lovers and their rendezvous

Without a kiss what will they do

A whispered breeze might hold a clue

For them a world of what might be

Becomes a chance at something new

And when one wonder there is through

Another possibility

Don’t ask if fantasies can be

Who knows what eyes of lovers see

Without a kiss to set them free

A satin sheet becomes a sea

For them and their reality

Becomes a dance a chance to spree

And with each turn a promised key

Another possibility

Don’t wonder of a wish from me

Whose dreams create the flowers’ dew

Without a kiss perhaps there’s two

In places where delights might flee

For them their hopes of all that’s due

Becomes a chance to dance anew

To all the wonders which ensue

The possibility of you
