Power Over Pain

Updated on July 26, 2013

It is underneath us, then all around,

People are heard screaming

Except those unfound.

Nowhere to run to, and no changing my fate,

This life has now ended, it must terminate.

Moving away, like a thunder cloud,

Spreading my wings so far and so wide.

Unpleasantly I fall, crash landing again,

Crash landing on many, and destroying lives.

Forgive me. It was not my sin, but twas the enemy within.

Starting afresh, from a destroyed existence,

Admiration for survivors,

Consolation for the families of the dead.

Help will come to all in need,

Please just be patient and you will succeed.

Please have faith in yourself,

Please have faith in your family,

Please have faith in your friends.

Pray for them, they may need your help,

Living on the opposite side of the world from them,

But knowing that they know you have faith,

Faith in them to survive a shattering earthquake,

Faith, that will only make them stronger.
