Power of Positive Thinking

Updated on August 1, 2010

Think Big-Aim high.

Everything we do is based on what we actually want or rather feel that is why our general thoughts and actions are controlled by no one else but us.

Bob Marley said it “We are what we are”

You are what you believe that you are, if you feel and believe that you are a fool then you are, if you believe that you are nothing but a slot for others to use and dump then you are, once you believe that you are a no body, it will manifest in everything you do and people around will understand from your actions and ways of operation that you are truly what you believe you are.

All our knowledge are based on our internal thoughts so we are totally in control of our directions. I can be positive and you can be negative but the fact remains that we both control our destiny therefore the difference between both of us is simply our ATTITUDES.

For some of us, learning is as important as the food we eat daily, for some it is good to learn while for quite a good number of folks, learning is simply boring. That is why I carefully crafted out this simple word to help you think positively about your person.

“Man is simply as happy as he feels he is”

The way we see ourselves is based on what we feel about ourselves from within us, it is true that sometimes when most of us face difficulties, they begin to look down on themselves and thus develop a self destructive pattern, what people say about us sometimes affect the way we see ourselves.

Let me ask you this question.

Do you believe that every rich person in this world is happy?

Riches might be worrisome sometimes therefore difficulties alone does not put one in a self destructive pattern, riches and wealth contributes to this too. All I intend to do here is to help you see the real you, the you which no one else knows so if possible, walk toward a mirror or pick up one then look direct at it and imagine what reflects in it.

I did not reflect there, it is you so the you in that mirror is the only one you know and it is the very person who controls your attitude, the conversation you have inside you is with that reflection and not me so the only way for you to truly understand that your flaws makes you special as well is to begin to change your inner conversation.

How to improve your attitude toward yourself.

There are three ways to enrich your soul and be the very person who you are

Be what you want to be

Don't just sit and watch!
Don't just sit and watch!

1.Commitment

2.Control

3.Challenge.

Commitment: Make a positive commitment to yourself, I mean dream big, feel on top of the world and no matter how hard or well life seems, simply praise yourself because it is not easy to be healthy and alive. Be passionate and enthusiastic.

Control: Be honest with yourself because the greatest failure in life comes from self deception therefore set goals and set ways to achieve them, it might seem difficult but believe me, nothing is impossible if you believe in yourself. Keep your mind focused on what you want and you will see a way out from it.

Challenge: When faced with difficulties, do not ever back off, see it as a way of learning and face it with total commitment to win, appreciate whatever situation that come your way and accept any change as an opportunity to bring out the best in you, try so many options no matter how many times you fail because the end they say justifies the means. Meet new people and develop new skills, ideas, ask questions and be optimistic in all you do.

Tips on how to improve your attitude toward yourself and think positively.

Associate with those who think like you

In every circle, ask questions

Always remember that the power of positive thinking lies inside you

What you believe

What you see

What you imagine

What you say

Rossimobis-this is such a wonderful hub! I have had trouble with self-defeating attitudes and thoughts for much of my life, and I love your three "C's."

The one that most spoke to me is the challenge aspect. I think I'll give it a shot TODAY!!!
