Short, sweet and refreshing. (I noted you on MsDora's Hub and thought I'd pop by. :-)

      Thank you.

We just got out of a long period of rain several weeks ago, thumbi7, but the lake is still full. It smells so fresh and clean.

Now it is monsoon for us. Water everywhere. I feel so good. It lasts for two to three months

Hey, Mary! I wrote that when we were in desperate need of rain, and finally beginning to get a little bit.

Thanks, dreamseeker. There has been so much rain around here lately, Boomer Lake is FULL.

I hate the rain when we get too much of it, but I'm sure nature loves it. : ) Voted it up!

I heard about that dreamseeker! Better rain than snow, though, even if it is a little late for that now(I hope!).

Hey, rebecca! We are getting a little bit of rain as of late, but it has been so dry for so long around here. We so badly need it, and it the Southern Cove will stay full, it provides a quiet respite for birds that want to rest and not be in the limelight.

Well done! : ) Voted it up, even if we do get a lot of rain here in the Pacific NW.

We just had so much rain lately, I was cursing it. Thanks for reminding me of the good things about rain with this nice haiku.

Beautifully expressed. We're grateful for rain here in the Texas drought.

Linda, it is nice to see you again in my corner of the planet. I am naturally of few words, so it looks like this is a good genre for me. When I need to make a major statement, I believe that I will use this avenue of expression.

Hey, Leslie! My lake is almost at the level that it should be at, but a couple of more feet of water would be better. The Southern Cove will once again shelter those creatures that like a bit of peace and quiet from the usual fiascos, and will most likely meet me directly, SO life is good... Thanks for visiting, and I'll catch you on the flip side...

Sometimes the less said, the more is felt and that is true for this beauty. I really love the simplicty and message.

I love haiku poems like this one. They express so much meaning in just a few words! The idea of rain sharing itself is lovely.

I understand, Billy, for I have been to Washington before. I was there for an entire week, but it didn't rain at all. Thanks for the kudos.

Short, sweet and beautiful! Well done, Deb, although in this state we don't call our rain sweet very often. :)
