I love reading. I want to share with you short reviews of the Christian books I have read in 2020. I encourage you to read them too. ❤️

Introduction

"You can't deliver yourself", is a statement I heard from my colleague one time. As much as there is truth in it to some degree, our great deliverer Jesus Christ taught His disciples that even little faith as a mustard seed can move great mountains.

There are many children of God out there needing deliverance and might have lost hope after being rejected by deliverance ministers who claim to have delivered many in the past. Don't blame them, since most of them need deliverance from some things too that is holding them back from being effective in their ministry.

I have good news. With the help of the Holy Spirit, you will receive your deliverance whether you engage in self deliverance or if it's through a deliverance minister. Here is a book with self deliverance prayers that you can engage in. Welcome into the army of God dear friend. ❤️

Self deliverance!

Prayers that rout demons

In his book, "Prayers that rout demons", John Eckhardt covers many areas of life that still hold believers captive with prayers for each area. He helps prepare the reader on how to get ready to engage in this warfare prayers and receive your deliverance. Whether your problem is generational, consequences of your mistakes or curses spoken over you by others, John doesn't fail to give Bible reference for each statement of prayer that you need to declare.

I have read many deliverance prayers since I got saved and I assure you that this book covers every area of problem that is common to man. For three years now, what I like about prayer books on deliverance is the fact that you need to confess the prayer with your own mouth. Whether directly or indirectly mentioned by the author, it all directs you to the power in confessing, decreeing and declaring God's word.

God promises His children that they shall declare a thing and it will be done for them. The first time I read this book in July, I thought I would just read one prayer a day but instead, I finished the entire book within four hours.

The Bible reference next to each prayer statement helps you learn and understand the power behind your confession. Instead of treating the book as a religious prayer that you need to recite over and over again, you will actually learn that it is serious warfare and once you engage in the prayers, be sure that whatever force or curse is operating behind the problem, it will be routed out. Just as the title of the book suggests, that is what you will see happening when you engage in the warfare prayers written here.

After I read the book for the first time in four hours, I discovered the book covers multiple if not all, types of prayers that can address each and every problem common to mankind. I've found to be led to pray the command the morning prayers on page nineteen almost everyday. And before that, I've been led to declare some prayers in the book that have helped me a lot as I experienced the benefits instantly within hours.

Not all prayers will apply to everyone but reading the entire book will help you when you need to refer back to something. My advice is after reading the book, you prayerfully ask the Lord to lead you on which prayers to pray for a particular problem. Though it won't harm you to pray all the prayers. It is better to be sure that you are dealing with all problems even the ones you don't see yet.

Conclusion

The author has plenty other prayer books that I'm yet to read but this one is really effective. What I can tell you is never to quit when you seem to be facing giants that others don't. Seek the leading of the Holy Spirit and yield to Him and you will find the solution has been there all along. The morning is coming and you will experience much joy. Shalom!
