- Books, Literature, and Writing
Psychedelic sunshine of the mind,
creates a state of peace that's hard to find,
light through a drop of rain,
sparkles of colour that makes greyness wane.
Sunshine projects life onto the dawn,
dispels darkness before the creeping morn,
creates heat that warms the soil,s
turns a frown into a smile.
Splinters of colour change with every hue,
explode into pastels bright and new,
colours describe the unforeseen,
highlighting patches where darkness had been.
Rainbows arc across the sky,
an upside down smile flying high,
to those in space that sees the curve,
colour brings happiness to the earth.
Sunsets of colour fall from grace,
while the sun shifts around the stars to race,
psychedelic images in the night sky,
remain in your memory when you close your eye.
Dreams in colour can distort the view,
fading to grey when feeling blue,
colours enclose us throughout our life,
gardens of memories forever rife.
Monochrome shadows still the air,
black and white people here and there,
without colour boring and grey,
but the splendour of nature with lots to say.
