RIP Robin Williams
Robbie my friend.
In misery we trust
In failure we thrive
In desperation we live
In woes we enjoy.
A sad existence we believe
In hopelessness we lose
Everything, everywhere, every essence, every meaning.
We have a face for the world, but the world never knows our inner turmoil,
The daily defeats, the regular nothingness, the greater absurdity of being alive
And striving day in and night out to be something that we are not.
And it will take its toll one day,
The day hopelessness and facade will take over the charade of living
The emptiness will possess the soul and the demons of parting will slowly encompass the being,
Of being the Bicentennial Man or Mrs. Doubtfire and the utopia of being a member of The Dead Poets Society,
Rest in Peace Robbie, wherever you are!
I could always see the pain in your guffaws and the hollowness in your laugh,
The eyes that betrayed your inner self and revealed the pain inside that I could understand,
For I am there and have always been there in your anguish, sorrow, mimicry and empathy.
Be there Robbie, just you wait for me. Rest until then wherever you are.
