In Memory (Poetry by GalaxyRat)

Updated on June 26, 2017

In memory

of one who will never come home.

She was in a crash,

and her car was on loan.

In memory

of one who was on the battlefield.

He was shot by the enemy,

and was killed.

In memory

of the pet who was missing.

She was the sweetest dog you've ever know,

and she'll never do any more licking.

In memory

of the pet who I once had.

He was the toughest rat in the world,

and he had such a life to live.

Who has died in your family?

Those departed live forever more in our memories... for life is a recurring dream in itself.
