Race Car

Updated on December 12, 2015

Hop into the car, outside the track, drive to the starting line. Hope out of the car, wave to the fans; this is how you please them, this is how begin a race.

You see the flag wave and hear the roar of engines surrounding you; this is how you don’t let you thoughts be swallowed by the noise, this is how you stay calm.

This is how you accelerate; this is how your hands stay steady on the wheel so you don’t crash and burn; this is how you survive the first turn.

On an open stretch of track you race your machine comrades. This is the adrenaline pumping though your veins; this is you breathing faster, like a tempo change; this is the tension of your muscles, your heart beating quickly; this is how a human controls a machine.
