Rage (Poem)

Updated on September 12, 2015

I fear for the day that has come;

the decay of morality,

the regression of humanity,

the disdain for authority

Shouts of injustice against our own malpractice,

Weapons of violence, words of intolerance,

We blame and we shame,

both of which we should rightly claim,

Superiority of the inferiors!

Intelligence of the fools!

A display of arrogance,

A forfeit of what is good,

Oh, fear the day that has come!

Our very rage will linger on,

even after we're gone.

Soli Deo Gloria

So love is not the only topic you can master? "Superiority of the inferiors! Intelligence of the fools!" These powerful words said in holy rage could get as much attention as curse words would. Good job.

Hmmm... Inspiring. Rage is something that can't be easily controlled, but it can be suppressed to some extent.

This is a very good poem! And it is very true! We all should be enraged at how life is now. All we can honestly do, and all God really expects of us, is to do our best with our own lives; do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

P.S. - That picture of the little girl kind of freaked me out! She's scary! lol...:)
