Rain is perhaps one of the most beautiful natural things that have happened to the planet earth. The splendid characteristics of the chaste drops have driven me into writing these four Haiku.

Haiku

Distinct Melody

Pitter patter on the roof

Unsung tunes galore

Green leaves, fresh fragrance

Souls drenched, all sins washed away

Drops glisten like pearls

Essence of splendor

Rages through the darkest clouds

Purity defined

Near the heaven’s gate

Melancholy angels stir

And shed their last tears
