Rain Drops
Rain drops
I listen to my thoughts, I descend into my soul.
I watch the rain go down silently, drops fall along the glass, draw abstract motifs that I follow absorbed.
I try to empty my mind, but the soul fills, restless, thoughts that fly fast.
Only one anchor I can find, in this stormy sea of restlessness, You.
Your smile, your bright eyes, your look at me that tells me so many things without saying a word.
Rest with the thought fixed on you, like a mooring that prevents the drift of my thoughts.
Restrained by the cords of your love, I stop wandering in a stormy sea.
I let myself be lulled by your thought, like waves of a sea that slowly softens its fury.
