Raindrops and Rainbows

Updated on March 29, 2011

Thunderstorm’s and rain drops

After the storm the rain stops

Only happening when it’s raining

A beautiful rainbow the sky’s attaining

Hanging above the winds and cloudy skies

Luring the gloominess with its lullabies

Splashing its drops in beating form

Traveling along with this thunder storm

The grey scaled dimness hangs so low

The chilly ice wind slowly hymn’s a blow

It brushes its fingertips along my limbs

As the clouds pass the moonlight dims

The clock permits time to travel

Released moisture and lifted the gravel

Just a simple overcastted morning

With a rainbow that’s brightly adorning

..well your writing is like a beautiful rainbow and the glory is that your writing contains more 'hues' I'm not gonna ask you where the rest of your hubs are - because a true artist never tells - and you my dear - are a true artist - where art/writing is always a work in progress.

Love your new profile photo - and a question - are you familiar with one of my all time favorite bands from your neck of the woods - Social Distortion featuring Mike Ness.

Howdy bellawritter23 - Here's a thought with which you are invited to pursue...

Think about how rainbows are caused and then chase that rainbow starting with the very first and tiniest drop of moisture until the who big thing shows up. That would make for a nifty poem that someone just like you could craft to perfection. Have fun.
