Raindrops (tanka)

Updated on March 11, 2015

I watch the raindrops

Coming down one cloudy day

Forming pools once more

Reminders of things gone by

Refreshing the yet to be

I enjoyed reading your poem - especially the last line! It's very thought provoking.

      Beautiful, Martin.

No one can capture the "yet to be" better than you.

      Have a wonderful day,

      DJ.

Wow, you described my day in the rain today. I love a light rain shower but not that dark, dreary and gloomy overcast skies with that hard rain that won't let up.

      Blessings

Ironically, it's raining right now. As the raindrops come down, the sky is littered with raining leaves. It inspired me to record it on my phone. I've never seen it rain leaves before! Pretty cool.
