Rising Temperatures

Updated on March 22, 2014

Just getting inspired by this song...credits to herbalmix

Source

And you know...

You know by now that we have

reached boundaries that no one

has ever thought of

So close and so warm

is the melody that will never

cause such a harm...

Source

You have explored every mood from the start

raised from the ashes until reaching deep in your heart

feeling like brand new and coloring your body with mine

meeting half way and splashing against lips so divine

reaching again to your own past experiences

I measure up my own veins with caresses

since creation and learning from time to time

we have reached that boiling point sweet girl of mine

Funny to write things that are just seen as shadows

emotions that open up roses with no much ado

enthralling piece of mine that captures more than bone marrows

ninety degrees to the left, to reach safe shore and deep harbours

Source

How could be have done this so many times

and never getting tired in making it so right

Raising the temperature and my own might

taking behind scenes until we get lost into the night

Once more we make nature a favor

and glorify that sweating flavor

ten times I have heard that strong voice

getting the message from you my woman of choice

Oh God! now I come to realize that you are the one

Now I come to understand the why, where, and how come

Paralyzed by raising temperatures and thoughts

I say 'I love you,' and embrace you

more than ever before

Tears on both sides make us think twice

This is not just a physical ranting of the night

finally love is mingling with our own desires

wasn't that enough to burn our hearts into our own fire...?

hold my hand tight... and open up that rose bouquet,

orchids and translucent attires...

Cyndi10 , sensual poetry is our thing. At times we just get inspiration from our own" walk of life."

Thanks for the feedback and kudos!

This reminded me of the time this happened between my husband and I. We both broke down in tears knowing we had finally found each other. I remember that feeling like it was yesterday. If everyone could experience that type of connection the world would be a much different place!

    Voted up!

    Pickles&rufus,

Love can be hot as it can be, but when is shared with feelings...the earth can open up and swallow all intentions...but do you think they would care?

@ Faith Reaper, I did write trhis piece, remembering real life moments and I think I did good. Where else you can get so much info? Unless I felt like get it from that Big thing Zine!

@Happy Easter to all!, Debbi brooks! You are such a romantic woman. Tha glass of wine would never help, on the contrary, would go down like the sweetest gift from a man... ya know?

@Sorry Wonderful1, hahaha! You said what? Didn't your mom tell you don not give Personal info to strangers? That was sweet of you!

Thinking about it... Probably will go one day to that West coast to find out how Camp Pembleton was made. All I know from past readings, it was a Jesuit or Spanish town... not checking or googling it. Gate 5? sounds so familiar... by that naval Base.

Lord: I always listen to my feelings, and don't call me Shirley. (Quote from "Airplane")

It's Sheila, and I'll be happy to brief you on Camp Pendleton. Meet me at the gate near the 5 freeway. ;)

Well, here in my geographic area it has already jumped to summer-like heat, and you're not helping at all to turn it down with this one! Ha. Great writing as usual.
