Real Live Boy

Updated on August 27, 2009

Thank you rdfrank67 of flickr for the use of this photo.

Accomplished at the game of make-believe

But what if you walk through that door

And a child I become

Not a woman with a syrupy tongue

What if you are as glorious as I fear

In form and thought and spirit

What if just looking at you melts me

Your gaze forces mine to the ground

What if you see past my curves

Through my erotic tales foretold

See past my bravado and pretty words

Leaving me dissolved into a puddle of insecurity

What if my beauty is as fleeting as my confidence

And yours only intensifies in person

What if you are disappointed  with the truth of me

Leaving you confused and unfulfilled

Worse, what if I become a demon of lust

And can not control my searing passion

What if I burn you with the heat of it

Leaving you critical and fearful

What if real flesh and bone cannot withstand

The frenzied feast I crave

What if I should have stayed in cyberland

Never to have had this real live boy

Hat's off to you Randy. You have quite the appetite and the means to quench it! This is my favorite stanza:

What if you see past my curves

      Through my erotic tales foretold

See past my bravado and pretty words

Leaving me dissolved into a puddle of insecurity

      As always, great job.

I love the unabashed honesty in this poem, especially in verses 3,4 & 5. Great job. Really good poetry.

Since iam a demon of lust,

SInce you are as glorious as I fear,

      Let us collide!!!

      I don't know if I did right? :)

Now Randy, I must say I have missed you in these few days and your response to human desire, lust and passion are revealed in the poetry you write. Another fierce work, Randy.
