Really, a Haiku ?

Updated on December 6, 2013

They whispered for the sun rise

Darkness was still there

They should have remained quiet

Whispers were no more

I like possums. They used to hang out on my patio and I fed them. Their babies were the cutest little fluff balls scurrying around! Darkness can be dangerous unfortunately. Very astute haiku.

Very well written. I love your play on words and the reference to hiding in the dark. Better to remain silent if you do not want to be found.
