Reasoning. A Poem By Literature Fairy.
If a tree grows in the forest but there is no-one around to see it, is it still beautiful?
If a flower dies without ever being smelled, was its scent still intoxicating?
If a star goes supernova before anyone has seen its light, did it still shine?
If love blossoms but remains unrequited, was it ever really true?
If a person leaves without ever saying a word, did they ever have a voice?
There are things that can never be, though we may yearn for them daily.
And what then?
If we were to get what we wanted, what would become of us then?
What is desired may not be shared, and what is shared may be false.
What is false may be true, and what is truth may be lies.
If a lie is never discovered, was it really told?
If a mistake is never uncovered, did it happen at all?
If a sin remains a secret, was it truly sinful?
If a choice has no consequence, was it ever made?
If I made a mistake, would you forgive me?
If I told you a lie, would you still love me?
If I made this choice, would you still choose me?
If I sinned, would you absolve me?
